THE BIO
Elena Kincaid is an award winning author who writes Erotic Paranormal and Contemporary M/F/M and M/F Romances. She developed a passion for reading and writing at an early age and loves to write what she loves to read --- usually romance with a paranormal twist. Her desk is constantly cluttered with journals, sticky notes, and torn out pieces of paper full of ideas.
She was born in the Ukraine and raised in New York, where she currently lives with her daughter. She graduated college with a BFA in creative writing and, in addition to writing, also started a graphic design business a few years afterwards. When not working, Elena loves to spend time with her family, travel the globe, curl up with a good book, and catch up on her soaps.
THE Q & A SESSION
Which one of your fictional characters would you like to do the nasty with?
EK --- Oh my…do I have to pick just one? I would certainly not mind being sandwiched between Charlie and Cole from Three Made In Heaven or Jordan and Kane from Alpha Blood, but since you’re making me pick only one, Nathan from UNSHATTERED. He is a sexy lawyer, a bit of a bad ass, but with a heart of gold, not to mention extremely talented in the bedroom. I also modeled him after the actor Daniel DiTomasso. Nuff’ said. ;)
What was your first Erotica book and what was the Toughest thing about writing it?
EK ---Three Made In Heaven was my first. The toughest part was probably my bad guy in the story; figuring out the threat while still mainly focusing on the budding relationship between my three characters.
Who's your most exciting character and who would play them in the movie?
EK --- Probably the men from my WIP Dragon Shifters. I hope to start writing this series in early 2016. I have three books already plotted out. The first book is pretty fleshed out and my two male leads are smokin’ hot. Pun intended. Ian Somerhalder and Ryan Paevey would be perfect to play them.

A Great Erotica Novel Must Have what Three Things?
EK --- A strong plot. Lovable characters with great chemistry. Scorching love scenes that are passionate and believable and will make the reader need a cold shower afterwards…or better yet, make them need their partner.
Give a shout-out to your most valued Fan, Helper, or Mentor and why?
EK --- I have to give a shout out to all the members of my Sinfully More Erotic Street Team, especially my fellow authors, Maia Dylan and Sarah Marsh. Your friendship and support have meant the world to me. I always look forward to our crazy chats, eye candy, and naughty antics. You are all a wild and crazy lovable bunch. And another shout out goes to John Tucker, the fabulous host with the most. He held my hand for my first ever event this past summer. Thank you for all you do, John.
What Genre of Erotica are you most hesitant to write about and why?
EK --- Probably the darker side, with dubious consent. I’ve read some that were really good, and some not so much, but in either, my brain just doesn’t want to go there. You become invested after reading, and a really good story pulls you in and stays with you for a while.
What's the least favorite word you've seen in Erotica and why?
EK --- Jizz and any variation of that word. Can’t really say why other than it makes me go Uggh!
Who was your first erotica novel dedicated to and why?
EK --- My family and friends for their support. I have really good people in my life that are always in my corner. I feel very fortunate.
Have you ever incorporated humor into a sex scene and, if not, would you be willing to try it?
EK --- Oh absolutely. Laughter can add to the sex, I think. I have one particular scene in UNSHATTERED where my couple can’t stop giggling, and then it turns into something pretty steamy.
Where is one place you would never consider having sex at and why?
EK --- A cemetery. It’s just creepy and I’d be too worried about things that go bump in the night, and not the good kind of bump. ;)
On an average day you would most likely be wearing a cotton panties, a thong, or going commando)?
EK --- I think thongs are the devil’s creation, so I would go with the hip hugging cotton, maybe add a bit of lace. Though under the right fun circumstance, commando would also be nice.
What Tame Literary Classic would you love to turn into a Hot Piece of Erotica?
EK --- Pride And Prejudice. Elizabeth Bennett and Mr. Darcy are such a passionate couple, even when they are both being stubborn as hell. I think their sex would be explosive.

But Anna can't help wonder if she and Nathan are strong enough to survive a past that keeps resurfacing or if fate will keep shattering the world around her.
