Blurb:
As the only senior graphic designer at Downey Handbags, Zane Kotsky expected to become the head of the creative art department when the company planned to expand its business. His hope crashed when it turned out that the company wanted someone from outside to be the manager. Knowing that, Zane planned to leave the place at once, but that was before he met the man who would become his boss, Joachim Wessling.

This is a previously published work. It has been revised and edited for Evernight Publishing.
Excerpt

“Downey must be very lucky to have you.”

The kid—because that was what he was to Joachim, a kid—stared at him a bit too long.

“Watch the road.”

Zane snickered, and switched his attention back to the traffic ahead. “Lucky. Yeah, I’d call it lucky they decided not to kick me out after denying me what should have been mine by right.”

Joachim hadn’t expected to hear those words. “I’m sorry. I don’t have any idea what you’re talking about.”

Zane sucked in a harsh breath.

“God, I’m sorry. That was totally uncalled for. Forget what I said, okay? And enjoy your stay here. People at Downey are the best, or I wouldn’t have lasted this long.”

Joachim frowned. Honestly, he didn’t know this would be the case. When they’d invited him to join the company, there was no talk that someone else might be qualified to be the head of the art department. In fact, he was under the impression that there hadn’t been an art department before, only a small division under a larger unit.

“You know, I can always talk to Mr. Downey and set things straight.” Joachim had never before seen an expression change from slight panic to utter horror.

“No,” Zane practically shouted. “You can’t tell him that. You have to promise you’ll never talk to Mr. Downey about the things I said. I’ll be happy to work under you. Work together with you. It was just a spur-of-the-moment outburst. Promise me, please?”

Joachim tried to think past the words work under you, and Zane’s pleas didn’t help the matter. He took a deep breath and gazed ahead.

“Okay, I promise not to say anything, though I’d prefer it if we’re all open and honest and don’t hide things from each other.”

“I’ve been open and honest with you.”

“Yeah, and I bet you regret it.”

GUEST BLOGGER ELODIE PARKES WITH HEART IN CHAINS

Please welcome my guest blogger today, Elodie Parkes with HEART IN CHAINS.

When Connor Douglas takes a tropical island holiday, he hopes to leave heartbreak behind. Little does he know the extent of the danger and sexual temptation that awaits him.
Long after Jay Levesque has closed down his operations on the very same tropical island, the memory of Connor haunts him.
Warm nights and scorching sex has someone’s heart in chains.

I so enjoyed writing ‘Heart in Chains’. I’d just written, MM romance, ‘A Forever Kind of Thing’ for an Encompass Ink anthology to be released later this year and I was still in MM story writing mode.

Connor and Jay my heroes just gelled in my mind immediately as I considered the kind of adventure Connor might have on vacation in an exotic place such as Indonesia. Jay is a mysterious character, tough, driven, but on the verge of changing his dangerous life when he meets Connor. Connor is still getting over a relationship break up, but it’s been long enough and he’s tired of being single. His former boyfriend’s betrayal stays with him, but as soon as he sees Jay, attraction is seeded in his heart.

These two characters are dear to me. Tenderness lies beneath Jay’s composed and tough exterior and courage lies beneath Connor’s sexual vulnerability. I think both will surprise you as you read their story.

Read the teaser:
Jay grabbed him and somehow they were back in an embrace. This time Jay kissed Connor.

The passion in the kiss exploded in Connor’s mind and he grabbed Jay’s head. He kissed Jay hard, thrusting his tongue into Jay’s mouth, his hands fisting in Jay’s hair, and he tugged to keep Jay’s mouth against his.

Jay’s groan of pleasure filtered through Connor’s haze of lust as they straightened out their bodies and pressed together, each rubbing their erect cocks on the other’s stomach.

Connor’s towel had come off and he was naked in Jay’s arms. His cock ached it was so hard. He moaned into Jay’s open mouth. “I can’t believe how fucking much you turn me on.

Meet the elusive Jay Levesque:

Hi Jay, Welcome to the blog

Jay: (Smiles) Hi, It's great to be here.

So tell us a little about yourself.

Jay: Well, you understand I can't say too much, because of spoilers but more for personal work reasons.
I'm six two, I have hair that is dark, but in certain lights it shows up some chestnut color. Blue eyes that Connor says are really turquoise. Weird huh? My work's secret. I have to keep it that way for the time being. I've recently moved cities and I'm loving Boston.

What about the story, can you tell us something about that?

Jay: It's an adventure/suspense/ love story. (Grins) Naturally, it might not be an adventure if you're on the receiving end of what I dish out during my work. It's a love story for sure. I'm bowled over when I meet Connor. I've never felt like that before. The story happens in a warm and lovely environment, pale blue oceans, palm trees, but my life there's a little dangerous. I've always been in dangerous work and I try to explain that to Connor towards the end of the story.

You mention Connor a lot. Tell us about him.

Jay: He's brave. He's hot. You know one of those guys who is really good looking and doesn't know it. He's a scientist, though not at all what you'd expect. I mean the stereotype of a scientist doesn't fit him at all. He's cool, loves music, working out, and me, thankfully. (Smiles)

What's hot about the story?

Jay: The weather. Me. The love scenes. A sarong. (grins) And Connor of course. The first time I kiss him is so moving, I have to hightail it or fall down at his feet. I have to be fierce to him from time to time, so I'm hiding how I feel then, but when I touch him, damn, it's like an electric shock right to my ... uh ... maybe I can't say where here.

I think we can guess. Do have anything else you'd like to tell us?

Thank you for inviting me to talk with you. I hope people like the story. It's really Connor's and my own journey to something we've always wanted.

Thanks Jay. He smiles.

Excerpt
“So tell me, Tilda, do you often invite men you meet on the street up to your apartment for hot cocoa?” His voice was deep and as he drew out ‘hot cocoa’, she realized how suggestive her invitation must have sounded.
“Oh my God, no, never. Of course not. That’s just stupid. And dangerous. And irresponsible. And stupid. I said that already.” Shit, she was rambling.
Ryan tilted his head to the side, observing her, and she bit her lip to stop herself from spitting out some other moronic reason as to why she shouldn’t invite strangers into her apartment.
“But you invited me up here. And you didn’t even know my name. I could do anything to you. No one even knows I’m here. No one saw us go inside together. You’re a tiny little thing and I could do whatever I wanted.”
He lowered the hot cocoa to the counter behind him and took hers from her hands. Tilda tried not to tremble as his fingers brushed against hers. He was right. Under normal circumstances, she would never bring a strange man up to her apartment, especially in the middle of the night. She wouldn’t have even let him walk her home.
But how she was responding to Ryan was not normal. None of this was normal.
“Don’t you want your hot cocoa?” Her own voice had become husky, and she hated how aroused she sounded.
“I think you know exactly what I want, but first you need to answer me.”
“I didn’t realize you asked me a question.” He smirked and she had to stop herself from reaching out and touching the dimple in his cheek. Shaved head and tattooed paired with a dimple? God, he was lethal combination.
“Why did you invite me up if you know how dangerous it is?”
“Because I know you won’t hurt me.” It sounded so stupid, so ridiculously stupid, but it was the truth. She was drawn to him and she knew by the way he couldn’t stop staring at her that he felt it. “You had plenty of opportunity to drag me into a dark alley on the way here if you wanted to hurt me, and you didn’t.”
He ran his knuckles down her cheek before cupping her face with his large hand. She leaned into it without noticing. He felt so good, so strong, and she would be lying if she said she didn’t crave his touch elsewhere on her body.

Today is the 1 year anniversary of UNSHATTERED (Silver Cliff #1)
Blurb: After Anna James loses nearly everyone she loves and is betrayed by those she trusted, she sets out in search of a place that would bring her peace.  She knew she had found it when she arrived in a sleepy little town called Silver Cliff and she vows to never trust anyone with her heart again, especially a man she fears would not only break her heart, he'd incinerate it.

Nathan Kent has dealt with his own heartache and demons from getting off the path he was meant to be on. He decides to return to his home town to rebuild his life and the last thing he needs is to fall in love with a snarky girl who keeps her past under lock and key. He realizes quickly, though, that she is girl worth risking it all for and vows to make her his.

Their pull was undeniable, like fireworks on top of flaming bonfires. But Anna can't help wonder if she and Nathan are strong enough to survive a past that keeps resurfacing or if fate will keep shattering the world around her.

STORY EXCERPT

What the hell was she thinking agreeing to this? She hadn’t seen Nathan since she went to his house to apologize and they shared not only a moment but an almost kiss, and now…now she was going out to dinner with him and the girls and freakin’ Joshua Dale. She liked Josh, and she actually felt bad about turning him down when he asked her out on a date. He was a good guy, sweet, funny, definitely cute, especially in his deputy uniform, but there hadn’t been a spark. Even if there had been, she still would have said no. Men like that were too easy to fall for and trust. Men like that would inevitably hurt her. The biggest difference between men like Josh and Trevor was that Josh would feel bad about it.
With Nathan, though, there wasn’t just a spark. There were fireworks…fireworks on top of flaming bonfires added to all the burners on the stove going at once and mixed with all the chemicals overreacting to each other in a lab. She was sure she could come up with even more metaphors, but she’d already made her brain hurt from overthinking things. Nathan did not just have the potential to break her heart, he could incinerate it.
This wasn’t a date, she told herself again. It was a group outing. That would be her mantra tonight.
She changed her clothes several times, made sure her makeup—though she didn’t wear much—looked flawless, and she wondered if Nathan preferred her hair up or down. Not a date. Not a date. Not. A. Date.
Okay, so maybe it really wasn’t a date, but a huge part of her wished that it was. She liked him…much more than she wanted to. How could I let this happen? She removed the clip from her hair, letting her silken locks fall straight past her shoulders. She sat on her bed with her head in her hands, berating herself for allowing these feelings. As if I had a choice. He somehow barreled into her life out of nowhere, demanding she reveal all of herself to him, and the worst part was that she wanted to. If she wasn’t running into him, she was thinking about him or thinking about ways to avoid thinking about him. And here she was just minutes ago, wondering which way she thought he would prefer her hair to be styled.
Distance. I need some distance. She would not be able to avoid him entirely, but she could try to limit the time she spent around him. That seemed like the best course of action, only the thought of not seeing him suddenly hurt her heart.
“Fuck!” She flung herself backward onto the bed, slamming her palms down on the mattress.
The doorbell rang. “Down it is,” she said, referring to her hair. When she opened the door, Nathan stood there wearing a cocky grin.
“Hi.”
“Um…hello.” Anna barely recognized her own voice. It came out as a sort of breathy squeak. She tried to peer past Nathan, into his car, but there was no one else with him.
Nathan turned his head to look behind him. When he turned back to face her, confusion marred his features. “Are you looking for something?”
“Where’s Ruby?” Ruby was supposed to be picking her up, Carla was meeting them at the restaurant right after her shift, and she wasn’t sure how Josh was getting to the restaurant.
“Ruby had a few last-minute errands, so I offered to pick you up.”
Anna finally realized she was being rude by not inviting him in, so she gestured him inside. “I’ll just go grab my bag.”
“My bag,” he mimicked in an exaggerated New York accent, making Anna laugh.
“Right, you guys say purse.” For the most part, Anna’s accent was nondescript, but certain choices of words and the pronunciations of them were definitely very Brooklyn. “You lived in the city. You should be used to it by now.”
“Mostly everyone I knew were transplants just like me, but I did get my daily dose of New Yawk City speak.”
“Oh shut it,” she said playfully. “We know there’s an r in there. I’ll just go grab my little ole purse.”
“No rush,” she heard him say on the way to her bedroom. There was still a trace of humor in his voice.
Something had just occurred to her. Bag forgotten, she walked back out into the living room.
“Wait, are we being set up again?” She was going to kill Carla. This was surely her doing. “Are they all going to come up with some excuse and not show up, leaving just the two of us at dinner?”
Nathan looked confused, or annoyed, at the possibility. She couldn’t tell which. “No. As far as I know, both Carla and Ruby are still coming, and you and I are going to go grab Josh from the station.”
Well that won’t be awkward at all, she thought. She went back into her room to grab her purse, and after locking up, they walked back to his car in silence.

ADULT EXCERPT

April showers were meant to bring May flowers, but unfortunately, in Nathan’s case, it brought weeds in the form of two unwanted visitors, and on his birthday no less. What was even more peculiar, was that the two of them arrived together. Naturally, their arrival disturbed what had started out as an amazing day.
Nathan awoke to an empty bed. It was odd since he was always the one who woke first. He would either lie there, watching Anna sleep, until she opened her eyes on her own, or was too impatient and his kissing, licking, and groping did the trick. In most cases it was the latter.
When the smell of something delicious reached his nostrils and the sound of pots clanking reached his ears, he knew what his woman was up to. He shot out of bed and donned a pair of sweats before heading to the bathroom to quickly relieve himself and brush his teeth.
The sight of what greeted him downstairs made his mouth water even more than the smell of breakfast. Anna, clad only in one of his long button-down flannel shirts, was by the stove with her back to him. She was flipping pancakes while quietly singing and dancing along to the tunes emanating from her earbuds. Just when he thought it was impossible for Anna to be hotter than she already was in his eyes, she started to sing “Paradise City” while subtly bobbing her head. He didn’t even know she was a Gun’s N’ Roses fan. They were one of his favorite bands of all time.
She squeaked when he put his arms around her from behind, obviously startled by his sneak attack. He was so hard, and he ached to relieve his pain. He turned off the stove, spun her around, grabbed her ass, and lifted her off her feet to straddle his waist. He walked the few steps it took to get to the kitchen island, freeing his rigid cock on the way over, and impaled her the minute her ass hit the marble top.
He fused his lips and tongue to hers as he feverishly pounded into her. Her shirt was ripped open, sending many of the buttons flying, but Nathan couldn’t care less. Her nipples beckoned him, and he obliged, licking and sucking them into his mouth in turn. He took out one of her earbuds, placed it in his ear, and as the song picked up tempo, so did his thrusting.
When the song changed to “Come as You Are” by Nirvana, Nathan and Anna had to suppress their laughter from the direction their dirty minds both simultaneously went. He was definitely going to make her come. Hard. The song was also fitting on another level. Anna was his nirvana. There was nothing more heavenly than being gripped by the walls of her tight, sweet pussy, he thought. He wondered why sex had never felt like this for him before and why none of his previous climaxes before Anna had ever slammed into him on a transcendental level. The answer was simple. None of his previous lovers was her. It was more than just the physical act of getting off with her. She was his home. Her beautiful body was made to fit his.
Their eyes locked. Anna balanced herself with one hand on the counter, while her other hand fisted in his hair. He felt her powerful legs tighten around his waist and knew that she was getting close.
“I’m gonna make you come so fucking hard now,” he said gruffly as he pounded into her. He tightened his hold on her hips and set an even more punishing pace. “Come all over my cock, baby.”
“Oh God! Nathan!”
“That’s right, baby. Let me hear you.” He knew she loved his dirty talk. Her lips turned up slightly at the corners whenever he used it.
“Ughn!”
“You love it when I fuck you, don’t you, Anna?”
“Yes,” she whispered.

GUEST BLOGGER BELLA SETTARRA WITH RED-LIGHT WRANGLER

Please welcome my guest blogger Bella Settarra with Red-Light Wrangler
‘The Men of Moone Mountain’ Book 2

Can a bad reputation hide a good heart?

After realizing everyone he has been with only wanted him for his money, Rich Buchanan, the billionaire’s son, gives up the dream of a serious relationship and gets his kicks sleeping around. He prefers men, but he only brings home women, since his father would be horrified to find out Rich was gay. But secrets are hard to keep among the rich, and his antics soon earn him the nickname “The Red-Light Wrangler” when people discover that money exchanges hands whenever he sleeps with a guy.

When Nate Walker starts work as Assistant Foreman at the Buchanan Ranch, his good looks and gorgeous body immediately pique Rich’s interest. And despite the gossip, Nate can’t help falling for him, either. But when Rich’s cousin Joey decides to blackmail Rich to pay off his debts, he soon realizes he could get much more out of the situation. Outing his gay cousin and causing a rift between Rich and his father could be just the thing to secure his own position as Frank Buchanan’s sole heir.

Rich has no one to turn to but his lover. But Nate has secrets of his own, and his reasons for being at the ranch are not entirely honorable...

Story Excerpt

“Sorry to hear about your dad, Rich.” Kent Freeman, the Deputy Sheriff, stood there with a grim expression on his face. “Mind if I come in?”
Rich stood back, allowing the tall, handsome guy into his house. He had expected him to go straight into the office, but Kent turned into the sitting room where his eyes went directly to the small table. Shit!
Rich felt his stomach lurch as Kent stared down at the note. “This arrive today?”
“Yeah. I just found it in the mailbox.” Rich frowned. He had expected Kent to be surprised by the note, but he seemed to take it in his stride.
“Mind if I get it fingerprinted?” Kent asked, not even touching the paper.
Rich shrugged. “Be my guest. You know who it’s from?”
Kent sighed as he put on a glove before placing the note in a plastic bag he pulled from his back pocket. “Do you?”
“I’ve got my suspicions,” Rich replied.
“Let me guess. Your cousin Joey or Cole Jackson?”
Rich gawped at him. “How in hell do you know that?”
“You should’ve come to us right at the beginning,” Kent admonished. “Could’ve saved everyone a lot of time and trouble.”
“You took Cole Jackson in about the poisoning, said you couldn’t pin anything on him,” Rich reminded him. “Anything after that would just sound like sour grapes.”
“We didn’t know about your cousin trying to blackmail you. Or Dan Robertson’s involvement.” Kent looked at him, shaking his head.
Rich sighed. “Kent, you know how it is. I’m gay, man. Dad’ll go mad if he finds out. I’ll lose everything.” He slumped into the nearest armchair, and Kent followed suit in the one opposite.
“Being gay ain’t a crime, Rich, but blackmail is. And so is poisoning horses.”
“I know, but Dad won’t see it that way. He’ll disown me, I know he will. Joey knows it, too.”
“That’s what he’s banking on,” Kent agreed. “But you’ve lost half your livestock because of this. And if you can’t prove you didn’t do it yourself you won’t even get the insurance pay out.”
Rich took a swig of his whiskey. “So, will this prove I didn’t do it?” He gestured to the note which the deputy had put in his pocket.
Kent Freeman shook his head. “Nope. I’m afraid it just gives you a motive.”

Adult Excerpt

Suddenly Rich grabbed hold of Wyatt’s muscular arms and pulled him down onto the bed. He got up and stood over him, yanking the blond guy’s long, hairy legs over his shoulders. He heard a loud gasp as he hauled him down the bed to get a better position.
Wyatt grabbed a condom from the nightstand and passed it up to Rich. He snatched it out of his hand and grinned when he opened it. Ribbed. He rolled the rubber onto his pulsating dick and yanked the guy’s hairy ass open. He heard a yelp, but paid him no heed. He watched Wyatt screw his eyes shut and barked at him. “Look at me!”
Wyatt’s eyes shot open and he stared up at him. Rich had a sense of satisfaction at his control. He lined his cock up to the gaping asshole and stared into Wyatt’s eyes as he thrust past the tight rim.
“Aah!” Wyatt’s panicked eyes seemed to glaze over and his jaw tensed.
Rich massaged the guy’s ass with one hand, while stroking his cock with the other until Wyatt’s face relaxed. Then he pumped hard into him, eliciting another loud yell. The cowboy’s shouts soon became excited as the pain must have morphed to pleasure and he began grunting with each thrust. Rich grinned as he pounded hard into the guy’s ass. He needed this. He closed his eyes and Nate Walker’s face flashed into his mind. He felt himself grinning as he thrust harder and harder, visualizing Nate lying naked before him, Nate groaning in ecstasy.
When Rich opened his eyes they were watery and glazed. All he could see was a mass of blond hair on the bed and, with his mind still on Nate Walker, he moaned loudly. He felt the body beneath him thrusting back toward him and heard fevered yelps and groans. The fire in his belly was roaring now and he felt like his whole body was a raging furnace. He hammered hard into the ass under him, yanking on the dick in his hand. With a loud grunt the body he was fucking convulsed and he felt cum like boiling lava trailing down his hand. His own orgasm wracked him and he pounded hard into the guy’s ass, over and over. Lights flashed in front of his eyes and he heard himself roar as relief swept through him. He just kept thrusting until he was finally satisfied. His breathing was rampant as he slunk onto the bed next to his partner, and he felt the cool air wash over his sweating body.
Both men lay in silence, heaving at the air, eyes closed for several minutes. Rich’s eyes opened slowly and he stared at the face next to his. For a split second he had actually expected to see Nate Walker lying there, but realized in horror that it wasn’t. While Wyatt’s eyes were still closed, Rich shot to his feet and grabbed his clothes before heading off to find the bathroom down the hall. He disposed of the condom and splashed cold water over his face and torso. His breathing was still rapid and he took a glass of water to try to recover himself. Pulling his clothes back onto his still-sweaty body felt horrid, and he left his shirt unbuttoned, hoping that the cold night air would cool him off a bit.
His head automatically faced the bedroom when he retreated from the bathroom, but he thought better of it. Like a thief in the night he made for the front door and slipped out. The cold night air bit him hard, and he shivered as he climbed into his car. Opening the windows wide he relished the freezing cold of the wind as it swept through his hair and over his flushed body. He needed the cold. He needed the space.
He needed Nate Walker.

Q & A

Q.  Red-Light Wrangler is the second book in The Men of Moone Mountain Series. How come it’s a MM story whereas the first was MMF?
A.  The Men of Moone Mountain are a mixed bunch, some gay, some bi and even some straight! It is a very open-minded community where no-one worries too much about their neighbor’s sexuality so anything goes.
Each book in the series is written as a stand-alone novel, so you don’t have to read the whole series to understand each book, although some of the same characters will crop up in each of the books. Rich Buchanan appeared in Menage on Moone Mountain and I really wanted to give him his own story.

Q.  Was this your first MM or ManLove story?
A.  Red-Light Wrangler was my first full-length MM novel, although I did have a gay couple of pirates in Secrets of the Siren (Siren Publishing), which was fun to write.
I enjoyed the challenge of writing Rich Buchanan and Nate Walker as both vulnerable and alpha-male at the same time, and would certainly write other MM characters in the future.

Q.  Will there be any other MM pairings in The Men of Moone Mountain series?
A.  Not yet. Book three in the series, Ménage on Ryder Ranch is a MFM story, and the book after that, Ménage at the Mode Boutique is another MMF, as was the first book in the series, Ménage on Moone Mountain, which has been my most popular novel so far. I wouldn’t rule it out, though ;)

Q.  As a British author, how hard is it to write about ranches and to set your stories in America? It must be a totally different culture for you.
A. Indeed. This is a question I am often asked and a very good point. I do a lot of research into ranching and have learned a lot about the day-to-day functioning of American ranches, just so I can add the ‘normalities’ into my stories. A lot of information is available in books and on the internet, and I also have friends in the States who have experience of working on ranches, families who own them, and a few who have had working holidays on dude-ranches (they’re great for the nitty-gritty gossip about what really goes on as well as the ‘inner-workings’!) ;)
Also, writing stories relies mostly on using the imagination, and as authors we often set our novels in unreal and fantastic worlds. For instance, there would be no sci-fi novels if we all had to rely on going into space or time-travel in order to write them; and shape-shifters and werewolves might be unheard of without an author’s imagery. Then there are vampires, fairies, all things supernatural and paranormal, the list goes on and on. Basically all stories require a certain amount of creativity – the skill comes from drawing a reader into our world and making them believe, even for a short while, that they have been transported to another place.

Q.  Are your characters based on anyone in real life?

A.  Hmm, that would be telling!!!!  Actually, although it would be wrong of me to write about anyone who could be recognizable in any of my stories, I do find myself picking ‘aspects’ of people to add to my fictional cast. For instance, the handsome looks of an actor’s face might merge with the great body of model, while a friend’s mannerisms or accent might mingle with the vulnerability or humor of someone else. Even then, when it seems I have constructed the ideal hero or heroine, I like to throw in a few flaws just to make them a little imperfect – that’s how they get their character and make them relatable and interesting, in my book(s). In Bella’s world all the heroes are gorgeous hunks and the heroines are always beautiful. Having said that, she firmly believes that ‘handsome is as handsome does’ and that ‘beauty is in the eye of the beholder’. (She is also a big fan of clichés as well as alliteration!)
She has been hanging out with her ‘imaginary friends’ for a couple of years now and finds the profession exhilarating and intriguing.  Her stories are all Erotic Romances, although they vary considerably in subject-matter.
She loves writing Cowboy Romances and was thrilled when the first book in her The Men of Moone Mountain series, (Etopia Press), entitled Ménage on Moone Mountain, received a nomination for the Ménage Romances Fan’s Award 2015 and became an ARe Bestseller, and the third book in this series, Ménage on Ryder Ranch was also nominated for the Erotic Ménages Romances 2016 . The fourth book in this series, Ménage at the Mode Boutique is now also available in digital format. She is currently writing another Cowboy series, Midnight in Montana (Siren Publishing), the first of which, Dallas at Midnight, is already available, with the second, Meet Me at Midnight due for release in June 2016.
Her Collar and Cuffs series (Etopia Press) also received an ARe Bestseller Award for Waiting on Summer, which has also been nominated for the BDSM Writers Con Golden Flogger Award 2016. This series was set in a BDSM club in Miami, and was a joy to write.
Her writing career began, however, in the fantasy/myth genre, with her first series Sirens and Sailors (Siren Publishing). Although this was a series of six novels, it actually started out as a short story! This was a delight to write and was proof positive that her High School Classical Studies lessons weren’t wasted.
She has also had a couple of short stories published in Men for Hire and Men for Hire 2 (Luminosity Publishing) and even had some rather raunchy poems included in Coming Together in Verse.
Not everyone is perfect – but it’s the character flaws which make them interesting, she believes. As in life, things don’t always run smoothly, but it’s the twists and turns which provide the drive to keep going, even when it just feels like an uphill struggle. Bella is currently fighting her own battle against breast cancer – a battle which she is determined to win – and believes that all women have the right to feel sexy even when they are battle-scarred.
She hopes you enjoy your foray into her world and would love to connect with you at:       http://bellasettarrabooks.blogspot.co.uk

Thanks so much for stopping by, Bella.  :)

Medina Argos is a woman on the run from her present and her past. One of three sisters in an international art theft ring, she flees when a routine art heist goes too far. But this curvy girl is about to learn that some hearts beat to a different drum and the road to love is sometimes the less traveled one, even for a woman with secrets.
Thomas Sauveterre is a renowned art restoration specialist. Nothing is more important to him than his daughter, Gabrielle. When he takes on the largest project of his career, he also gains a security officer in the bargain. But love can be hiding in the most surprising places if he can only open his heart to find it.
Grayson Maberry is a man on the brink. Charged with protecting property and guarding the family he’s currently assigned, he is torn by duty and a love that may never be. But a true guardian will wait forever and this gargoyle may have just met his match. Twice.

Excerpt:
“Oh my God. Will you just shut up?” Medina Argos growled under her breath as the snakes beneath her skin hissed and whispered. It was the same word, over and over again and she was about to lose her damned mind.
Pretties...
Yes. Pretties. She needed to find a new pretty or her sisters were going to have her head on a spit—and that was before breakfast. She massaged her temples and willed the pounding in her head to freaking stop. The print of the newspaper spread across the table swam like ants in front of her eyes. She lowered her lids, blocking out the bright daylight streaming in through the blinds. Her snakes loved the light but she on the other hand wished it would cloud up and rain like hell. Then at least the migraine would stop. Just another thing for them to disagree about.
The gallery exhibits laid out in the entertainment section tugged at her consciousness but nothing really rang true. Maybe it was the headache.
Pretties...
“Ugh.” She reached for her coffee and took a large gulp.
The full moon was right around the corner and her snakes were at it hard today. Their voices were a snarl of murmurs that were ever so slowly driving her insane. And they really needed another thing to focus on. Like maybe where she could go to find a good brownie. Or some chocolate chip pancakes. But all they wanted to whisper about was the one thing she couldn’t get them to agree on—their next mark.
“Would you hurry up, already?” She mumbled, poking her stylus into her hair. They hadn’t popped out for a visit yet today, but if this headache kept up, goddess only knew. Temperamental at best, her girls were moody man-hating bitches most days and that was saying something.
So she talked to her hair. Most shifters she knew had the same dual natured problems she did, only they weren’t stuck having snakes for hair and an ass that turned into a giant snake rear end. Well, to be fair, her legs sort of turned into the back end of a giant snake, but it was all semantics. On most people’s scale of sexy, snakes weren’t high up on the list. Hell, they probably weren’t even on the list, but when you’re smote by a goddess, it isn’t like you have much say in the matter.
Other people she’d come across in her travels had at least been wolf shifters or even cats. She, on the other hand, was afflicted with a mythological curse that left her hissing at the moon instead of howling at it. One of the snakes wiggled in her hair and she absentmindedly poked at it with her stylus.
“Not yet. Go back to sleep.”
There went the coolness thing again.
The snakes hissed at her in censure and she sighed. She reached for her cup of coffee and took another sip. The hot black liquid slid over her tongue, cinnamon and earthy. The morning had come too soon. Nightmares woke her in the middle of the night, shaking and sweating, just like clockwork. Her throat closed up like it did when the bastard in her nightmare closed his hand around her neck, cutting off her air, his eyes narrowed into slits filled with rage filled spite.
Favored by the goddess...You’ll be crawling by the time I’m done with you.
And she had been.
